Our first action is for Unique's instructor and the student to meet to discuss the students' worries and needs and decide on the short and long-term goals of the course. An initial assessment of the students' language ability will also take place so that the instructor can better understand what is needed. This assessment will cover every aspect of the language; from grammar to the structure of sentences as well as vocabulary, listening and pronunication.
Course Content
Every student has unique needs and so it is difficult to lay out an exact idea of what will happen during a course. However, here are some of the areas that could be covered during a typical two-hour session:-
Presentation Skills
A familiar part of most peoples' working lives, presentations can be very stressful. We will attempt to ease that stress by helping the trainee to prepare the presentation whilst consistently giving pointers about what to include and exclude. After that, the participant will be asked to deliver a practice presentation. After each presentation, the performance will be analysed by the instructor. The proper tone and format of the presentations will be stressed to develop them. The analysis will include a look at the vocal tone, body language, pronunciation and grammar as well as the overall content of the presentation.
Pronunciation
These exercises show participants how to pronounce certain sounds and how to use their lips and tongue to produce the sounds. Better pronunciation of English will not eliminate an accent, but it will make it much easier for the native speaking English listener to understand the speaker in a social and business conversation.
General English help
This looks at simple common mistakes that students may be making. Idiomatic and colloquial expressions, especially those most frequently used in business situations, will be introduced and explained. Material will be supplied for students’ review away from the training room.
Written Business Communication
Letters, e-mails, faxes and business reports can all be looked at and pointers and techniques can be given as to how to improve written communication.

Cultural Tips
One can only truly understand a language through understanding the culture of a country. Our instructors will regularly offer cultural tips to aid in your knowledge of the UK and other English-speaking nations.
Final assessment
Student progress is checked after each lesson detailing material covered, student effort, and what steps should next be taken. Progress reports are issued regularly throughout the course and when requested by the student or their employer.
Courses can be taken at your home, a neutral venue* or in your office. Just complete this form and we will get back to you within a few hours.
